HOURS: Mondays 1:00pm-8:00pm & Wednesdays 10:00am - 8pm >>>>> Are you are suffering from pain or discomfort? Or dealing with a chronic injury/condition that is not healing? Manual Osteopathy is one of the most in-demand manual therapies that focuses on resolving the root case of your pain.

Osteopathy is a safe and gentle manual therapy that targets the framework of the body: bones, ligaments, muscles, and connective tissues or fascia. Manual Osteopaths assess the condition of the musculoskeletal system looking for areas of weakness, imbalance or excessive strain.

Treatments will often incorporate orthopedic assessment, cranial-sacral techniques, fascial work, visceral assessment and manipulation, joint mobilizations, cupping therapy, soft tissue work, and muscle energy techniques to help restore function, relieve pain and improve blood flow throughout the body.

[Morgan treats all ages from child to senior. Prenatal/postnatal patients welcome]

Nikki Slumskie has been a dedicated member of the Continuum team for over 10 years. Nikki graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2007. Her passion for massage comes from a general interest in health and well being, and her practice is in a constant state of evolution to uncover best practises and effective tools and techniques to achieve long term results. Nikki’s massage style tends towards a firmer pressure, using techniques to relieve tension and trigger points, and more specific work around the origin and insertion of the muscle. Nikki has recently began incorporating her education in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) using Acupuncture, where she graduated from the Institute of Traditional Medicine in 2014. She not only addresses the musculoskeletal concerns but also considers the person as a whole. With the use of Acupuncture, she can help to shift the body from a state of stress (fight & flight) and into a state of calm (rest & digest). The importance of this is to regulate the acidities in the body, which aim to reduce inflammation that result in pain. Assisting in regulating the body’s nervous system helps improve ones sleep, boosts overall immunity and alleviates chronic pain. See ACUPUNCTURE for more information and what concerns it can help to relieve.
